Morning Movers: Tesla Tanks, Starbucks Gains, CenturyLink Drops

Stocks look set for a higher open this morning as oil prices rise after Russia and Saudi Arabiaagreed that OPEC production limits should be extended.

SP 500 futures have risen 0.2%, while Dow Jones Industrial Average futures have gained 0.3%. Nasdaq Composite futures were little changed.

The Energy Select Sector SPDRETF (XLE) has gained 1.6% to $68.80 as oil prices surge after Russia and Saudi Arabia agreed in the need to extend OPEC production limits for nine months.

TD Ameritrade Holding (AMTD) has risen 1.5% to 37.84 after getting upgraded to Outperform from Market Perform at Wells Fargo.

CenturyLink (CTL) has fallen 1.3% to $24.31 after getting cut to Underperform from Market Perform at Raymond James.

J.C. Penney (JCP) has declined 1.3% to $4.49 after getting cut to Neutral from Buy at Buckingham Research and to Neutral from Outperform at Baird.

Starbucks (SBUX) has advanced 1.1% to $60.57 after getting upgraded to Buy from Hold at Deutsche Bank.

Tesla (TSLA) has dropped 2.3% to $317.50 after getting cut to Equal Weight from Overweight at Morgan Stanley.

WisdomTree Investments (WETF) has climbed 3.6% to $9.34 after getting raised to Buy from Neutral at Citigroup.
