Katherine Heigl responds to Seth Rogen’s ‘Knocked Up’ comments: ‘Feel nothing but love and respect’

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 11 (UPI) — Katherine Heigl has responded to Seth Rogen‘s recent Knocked Up comments seemingly burying the hatchet with the comedian.

“I think that he’s handled that so beautifully, and I just feel nothing but love and respect,” Heigl said of Rogen’s remarks regarding the pair’s past feud Wednesday while promoting her new CBS drama Doubt at the Television Critics Association’s summer press tour according to The Hollywood Reporter.

“It’s so long ago at this point,” she continued about the drama that followed the release of comedy hit Knocked Up in 2007. After the film came out, Heigl famously stated that the film was “a little sexist” and slammed its portrayal of women as being “shrews, humorless and uptight.”

“I just wish him so much goodness — and I felt that from him, too,” she continued about Rogen.

Rogen responded to Heigl’s original Knocked Up remarks Monday while on The Howard Stern Show explaining how much he enjoyed working with Heigl despite her comments about the film. “I thought we had a great dynamic,” he said. “We were funny together. I was having a really good time, and then I heard afterward that she didn’t like it, that she seemed not to like the process, and she did not like the end product either.”

“I think when that happens … your trust feels somewhat betrayed,” Rogen further admitted. “We have a very open process. You have the ability to say something at any moment: ‘I don’t like this scene. I don’t like how I’m coming across here.'”
