NEW YORK, Aug. 8 (UPI) — Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has been named the executive soundtrack producer for publisher 2K Sports upcoming video game, WWE 2K17.
“Proud to announce on #RAW that I’m the Executive Soundtrack Producer for #WWE2K17!” the hip-hop mogul announced on Twitter Monday alongside a fiery image of himself in the style of the game’s cover art which features ‘The Beast’ Brock Lesnar.
Diddy has hand-selected 13 tracks which will be featured in the title including his hit 2001 single “Bad Boys For Life” and classic 1970 rock track “Paranoid” from Black Sabbath.
“I am a huge WWE fan. I love the intensity and the competition and I wanted fans to feel that energy in the soundtrack for WWE 2K17,” Diddy noted in an interview with Billboard who also released the full track-list.
“While prepping for the upcoming Bad Boy 20-Year Family Reunion Tour, I’ve been thinking a lot about the past and the artists that inspired me. I mixed some of my favorites with some of the best new acts in the game today to create something really special,” he continued.
Diddy is expected to appear on Monday Night Raw to formally announce his involvement.
WWE 2K17 is set to arrive on October 11, 2016 for the Playstation 4, Playstation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360.
