UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif., Aug. 7 (UPI) — USA Network says it has renewed its legal drama Suits for a seventh season to debut in 2017.
The show — from executive producers Gale Anne Hurd and Blake Masters — is currently in its sixth season and fresh episodes air Wednesday nights. It stars Patrick J. Adams, Gabriel Macht, Gina Torres, Rick Hoffman, Meghan Markle and Sarah Rafferty.
“From the beginning, Suits has centered on the fast-paced Manhattan corporate law firm, Pearson Specter Litt. But, last season, their world was shaken to its core when Mike Ross signed a two-year plea deal admitting his fraud to spare his colleagues Harvey, Jessica and Louis,” a synopsis said.
“In Season 6, Mike deals with the harsh realities of prison life, while his relationship with his fiancé Rachel and the future of the firm is unknown. With Pearson Specter Litt’s troubles at a peak, Donna must help bring them all together to not only save the firm, but also the friendships they have all dedicated their entire career and lives to.”
