FBI: CDs bearing radical cleric’s name found at Detroit home

Authorities have seized several CDs marked with slain radical cleric Anwar al-Awlaki’s name in the home of a Detroit man who was arrested after buying five grenades from an undercover federal agent.

The Detroit News (http://detne.ws/2aWBdu8 ) obtained a sealed search warrant that details the guns, ammunition, computer equipment and cellphones also taken from Sebastian Gregerson’s home.

Officials would not disclose what the CDs contained.

The 29-year-old Gregerson has been charged with possessing an unregistered destructive device. Court records say Gregerson spoke about carrying out an unspecified attack.

Defense attorney David Tholen has said the government is exaggerating Gregerson’s threat.

Convicted terrorist Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, who is serving a life sentence for trying to blow up a Detroit-bound airliner in 2009, trained under al-Awlaki.
