NEW YORK, Aug. 2 (UPI) — Jaden Smith got close to girlfriend Sarah Snyder at the Suicide Squad premiere Monday.
The 18-year-old actor was spotted kissing and holding hands with the aspiring model while attending the movie’s New York screening at The Beacon Theatre.
Smith and Snyder, who were first linked in May 2015, attended the event amid rumors that Snyder cheated with photographer Gunner Stahl, who had posted a since-deleted photo of himself and Snyder in bed this week.
“She was just in [Atlanta] last week at [Gunner’s] photo exhibit,” a source told The Shade Room.
Smith’s dad, Will Smith, 15-year-old sister, Willow Smith, and 23-year-old half-brother, Trey Smith, were also present at the premiere. Will Smith, who plays Deadshot in the movie, praised Jaden in an interview with E! on the red carpet.
“Listen, that kid is the most certain, confident, comfortable person I’ve ever met in my life,” he said. “A lot of people act like they don’t care what people think, and I’ll be looking at that boy, and he legitimately does not care.”
“For me, I see my job as a parent is to support what my children are — to support what they want to become — more than it is to dictate what will make me feel good for them to become,” Smith added. “This is their life.”
Jaden Smith and his dad most recently co-starred in the 2013 movie After Earth. Will Smith shared a funny story about his son Thursday on The Tonight Show, revealing Jaden tricked him into visiting England to drink alcohol.
