NEW YORK, July 19 (UPI) — Stephenie Meyer‘s next novel The Chemist is set for release Nov. 15, Little, Brown and Company announced Tuesday.
The publisher described the book as the Twilight and The Host author’s “first thriller for adults.”
“It’s a gripping page-turner with a fierce new heroine you’ll love — get excited!” the company wrote in a Facebook post.
“She used to work for the U.S. government, but very few people ever knew that,” a synopsis said. “An expert in her field, she was one of the darkest secrets of an agency so clandestine it doesn’t even have a name. And when they decided she was a liability, they came for her without warning.”
“I’m looking forward to sharing this story with all of you… But before I can do that, I need to finish the edit. So, I’m off,” Meyer penned on her website. “See you guys in November!”
