Free agent guard Dwyane Wade will meet with Denver Nuggets officials Wednesday, reports Adrian Wojnarowski of the Vertical.
Denver has reportedly offered Wade a two-year deal that could reach more than $50 million, according to Marc Stein of ESPN.
Wade, 34, began to field offers from other teams after negotiations with the Miami Heat stalled. The Heat are reportedly willing to pay Wade around $40 million for two seasons.
Wade played in 74 games last season, averaging 19.0 points, 4.1 assists and 4.6 rebounds.
There are also rumors that the veteran has drawn interest from the Cleveland Cavaliers and former teammate LeBron James.
The Nuggets finished 33–49 in 2015–16, good for 11th in the Western Conference standings.
