Pearl Jam to release live album through Jack White’s Third Man Records

NASHVILLE, July 1 (UPI) — Jack White‘s Third Man Records announced that it will release a Pearl Jam live album as part of its Vault Package series.

“The highlight of the performance came when Pearl Jam invited Jack White and his guitar to the stage to join on a song that clocked in at over seven minutes and featured wild dueling solos between White and Mike McCready, this epic performance left every mouth in the audience agape and every face on stage all smiles,” the label said.

During the show Pearl Jam also performed a “clutch collection of songs that spanned both deep cuts and fan favorites” including “Deep,” “Life Wasted,” and “Let Me Sleep.”

According to the label’s website, the Nashville Blue Room is the only live venue in the world capable of recording live performances direct-to-acetate.

Only members of Third Man’s Platinum Vault Subscription service will be able to receive the recording, which will arrive pressed on a a black-and-gold, split-colored vinyl.

The package also includes a vinyl recording of a solo acoustic track performed by Pearl Jam front man Eddie Vedder the day after the secret show and a photo book of the performance.
