From getting caught kissing Tom Hiddleston to her continued beef with Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, it’s certainly been a dramatic week for Taylor Swift!
Yesterday GQ‘s Kim Kardashian story hit the Internet in which the reality star called out Tay for her dissing her husband after his song “Famous” came out, in which he called the popstar a “b*tch.”
In the interview Kim claimed that T-Swizz knew what was up before and that she just played the victim after the fact.
Kim said, “[Taylor] totally knew that that was coming out. She wanted to all of a sudden act like she didn’t.” Kim also said Taylor’s victim act is nonsene and there’s a video to prove she knew all about it because there was a videographer filming the whole thing. The doting wife defended her man, insisting that Taylor “totally approved that [line in the song about her].” Kimbo added, “I swear, my husband gets so much s–t for things [when] he really was doing proper protocol and even called to get it approved.”
Sorry Kimmy K — we just don’t buy that Taylor Swift would be okay with being called a “b*tch.” You might be okay with it (which you really shouldn’t be) but any feminist would be outraged by the clearly derogatory term!
While we think Kim sounds like a dumdum for defending her man, Taylor is speaking out too. She’s definitely not taking this lying down. Her rep released a lengthy statement about the GQ interview:
- “Taylor does not hold anything against Kim Kardashian as she recognizes the pressure Kim must be under and that she is only repeating what she has been told by Kanye West. However, that does not change the fact that much of what Kim is saying is incorrect. Kanye West and Taylor only spoke once on the phone while she was on vacation with her family in January of 2016 and they have never spoken since. Taylor has never denied that conversation took place. It was on that phone call that Kanye West also asked her to release the song on her Twitter account, which she declined to do. Kanye West never told Taylor he was going to use the term ‘that bitch’ in referencing her. A song cannot be approved if it was never heard. Kanye West never played the song for Taylor Swift. Taylor heard it for the first time when everyone else did and was humiliated. Kim Kardashian’s claim that Taylor and her team were aware of being recorded is not true, and Taylor cannot understand why Kanye West, and now Kim Kardashian, will not just leave her alone.”
Much like Zsa Zsa Gabor — this feud will not die!
