‘The Bold & The Beautiful’ Casting: ‘The Talk’s Sheryl Underwood Makes Guest Appearance

“The Talk” co-host, Sheryl Underwood, will be joining “The Bold and the Beautiful” as a woman from Bill Spencer’s past.

She Knows reports that Underwood is an enthusiastic soap fan herself. Her show is taped in the same studio as “BB,” so this will be a fun crossover gig for her.

Entertainment Weekly reports that Sheryl Underwood will portray the role of Emmy, a woman from Bill Spencer’s past. It doesn’t sound as though the character has a romantic history with Bill, however. According to the report, Bill turns to Emmy to find out if the marriage of Wyatt and Steffy is valid.

It’s unclear why Bill would question whether the marriage is valid. Wyatt and Steffy were wed by a good friend of Wyatt’s — played by guest star, Chaz Bono — who was supposedly a qualified officiant.

Steffy and Wyatt are struggling to keep their marriage on even ground after Liam entered the picture again. Liam has pressured Steffy to end things with Wyatt because they were married under false pretenses thanks to Quinn. Steffy is committed to her vows to Wyatt, but a veil of malaise lurks inside her since she can’t be with Liam. If there’s anything that makes their marriage invalid, it’ll certainly spell trouble for Wyatt in holding onto Steffy!

Sheryl Underwood will appear on “The Bold and the Beautiful” on June 13 and 14.
