Josh Duggar and his wife, Anna, are in marriage counseling. This comes one year after it was revealed the former “19 Kids and Counting” cast member molested underage girls when he was a teenager — including his sisters, Jessa and Jill Duggar.
In addition to the molestation scandal, it was revealed that Josh had cheated on Anna and was an addict to pornography. The embattled reality TV star completed rehab in March and is now selling used cars in his hometown. He and Anna live in Arkansas with their four children.
Josh and Anna announced in a message on the Duggar family website that they’re in couples therapy.
“As we enter into a long family weekend together, we want to thank each of you for the prayers, love and encouragement you’ve sent our way.

“Since the residential treatment program ended, we have been working with a professional marriage and family counselor to take important steps toward healing,” they continue. “It isn’t easy and some days are very difficult. It is a long road to rebuild trust and a truly healthy relationship. We are very thankful for God’s forgiveness, grace and help, as it is our strength and guide to rebuilding our lives.”
The couple go on to say, “As the future unfolds, we are taking one day at a time and we are grateful for your continued prayers for both of us and our sweet children.”
The Duggar couple ended the message “with gratitude.”
Though Anna has appeared on the spinoff series “Counting On,” Josh remains off-screen.
