Did Drake Try To Kiss LeBron After Game 6?

LeBron James, Drake

Drake is a huge fan of the Toronto Raptors. So, during Game 6 of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals, the rapper got heated and started taunting LeBron James, even though the two are normally very friendly. Drake even performed at the afterparty the night LeBron won the NBA title in Miami. Shortly after Drake started ranting at the Cleveland Cavaliers from his courtside seats, LeBron threw down a monster dunk. The king ran by Drake and returned his insults with some choice words of his own.

After the Cavaliers beat the Raptors 116 – 78 to advance, LeBron ran down to the tunnel after Drake as he was leaving to make amends for his actions. They whispered into each other’s ears and hugged. Then, it looked like Drake tried to go in for a kiss on the cheek before LeBron moved away.

Next week, LeBron’s set to make his sixth straight appearance in the NBA Finals against either the Oklahoma City Thunder or the Golden State Warriors. Drake will definitely be cheering him on in a Cavs jersey.

According to a Hollywood Life source, LeBron understands rivalry and royalty. He doesn’t take it personally and completely understands why Drake’s got to rep his home team. He’s all business.

“LeBron and Drake are boys and they’re cool but tonight, LeBron’s loyalties are to his teammates,” a source close to the LeBron said. “He doesn’t know if Drake’s going to be in the building, being the cheerleader that he is and trash talking him as he supports the Raptors. But if he is, that’s cool. LeBron could care less. He’s been booed harder and called very harsh names by fans his entire NBA career. If anything, Drake will be sitting at the games with his mouth shut because LeBron’s about to put on clinic and show everyone why he’s the best in the game and help move his team to the finals.”
