Amber Heard’s Request To Protect Dog From Johnny Depp Denied By Judge

A judge denied Amber Heard’s request for sole custody of her dog, Pistol, in her filing of a restraining order against Johnny Depp. People reports that Heard wanted Depp to stay at least 100 yards away from her Yorkshire Terrier, Pistol.

The couple have two — Pistol and Boo. Pistol was given to Heard before she got married to Depp.

“Her ex-girlfriend Tasya [van Ree] gave her the dog,” a source told Entertainment Tonight.

Boo is believed to be Johnny Depp’s dog.

A judge denied the request stating that there was “insufficient showing of need to protect pet dog.” The judge did issue a temporary restraining order requiring Depp to stay 100 yards away from Heard, and allowing her use of the downtown L.A. apartment that she shares with Depp.

As People reminds readers, the two dogs made news when Heard was accused of smuggling them into Australia while her husband was filming “Pirates of the Caribbean.”

Amber Heard was given a one-month good behavior bond in April after she pleaded guilty to providing a false immigration document when entering Australia last May with the dogs.
