Derrick Rose’s son doesn’t have Riley Curry’s passion for the media. On Sunday, Derrick and his little boy, P.J. threw out the first pitch at the Cubs – Pirates game in Chicago.
Rose took to the field first, leaving his three-year-old behind. P.J. Rose’s name was then announced but he remained on the sideline until his daddy came to carry him out. He was too shy to walk out by himself.

In the end, P.J. got the job done.

Which is probably a good thing, Derrick might have gotten hurt.
PJ has had moments in the spotlight before. He made the Chicago Bulls’ Instagram page, fist bumping Kobe Bryant.

Last year, P.J. took center stage at his father’s postgame press conference. He’s adorable little face and strong eyebrows became a meme.
