Now, why would anyone want to pick a fight with MMA darling and DWTS contestant, Paige VanZant? Apparently Ronda Rousey has a bone to pick with Paige, who is finally speaking out over the alleged feud.
The story isn’t new; it’s grown a second set of legs. Paige isn’t tapping out — and isn’t afraid — but she does have a prediction about the outcome in her skirmish with Ronda, according to a TMZ Sports update.
Miesha Tate, a fellow UFC fighter, who has reason to lack any love for Rousey, had a hand in spreading news about Paige VanZant’s feud with Ronda Rousey. Tate was a guest on Thursday’s “The Joe Rogan Experience.” She shared Paige’s firsthand account of what went down between her and the former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion.
According to Tate, Paige told her that Rousey accosted her at a party about VanZant supposedly “crossing her.” Simply put, Ronda was livid that Paige gave props to Holly Holm, who defeated Rousey at UFC 193 by knockout in November.
Reportedly, Ronda dropped a few f-bombs to get her point across over the alleged disloyal act. Paige was shocked over Rousey’s tirade, but Tate suggested it was consistent with Ronda’s personality.
Reporters recently caught up with Paige during an outing and were curious if she had plans to bury the hatchet over her feud with Ronda. VanZant is optimistic and thinks the conflict will end soon — at least she hopes it does. Check out the video below.
