A hospital in a town outside Buffalo, N.Y., was placed on lockdown after an armed man entered the building shortly before 5 a.m. Saturday and claimed to have a bomb, police said.
Authorities are hunting for the suspect who entered Eastern Niagara Hospital in the town of Lockport. Authorities said they recovered two guns and the suspected bomb and have called for a shelter-in-place in the surrounding area.

Ambulances are reportedly being diverted from the hospital.
WGRZ reported that the suspect is described as a white male in his early 20s with blonde hair and about 6-feet tall. He was last seen wearing a tan shirt and pants, the report said.
BuffaloNews.com reported that the emergency department provided the armed suspect with “a limited amount” of drugs. No shots were fired.
