Bethenny Frankel decided to end her run on her own talk show because she felt that she was being edited and limited. It isn’t in Frankel’s nature to slow down and be edited, so she decided to quit the show. Last season, Bethenny returned to The Real Housewives of New York and now, she’s headed to SiriusXM. Andy Cohen, who has his own radio show on SiriusXM, decided to offer the outspoken housewife an opportunity to have her own show.
According to a new report, Bethenny Frankel is now revealing that she’s excited about her new show. She will talk about everything from dating, sex, parenting, food, diet, beauty, business, and more. She even hinted that it would be “an irreverent, inappropriate Seinfeld” where she “rants about ridiculous things.”
“Bethenny is a self-described unfiltered know-it-all, which makes her a perfect fit for Radio Andy,” Andy cohen said in a statement about the new show, hinting that she won’t be holding back.
“It’s really a no-holds-barred environment,” Bethenny told Entertainment Weekly about the new show, adding, “I couldn’t just go rogue on my talk show… It’s just going rogue, is what [the radio show] is, and I love that. It’s a zero-f***s nation.”
The show will be similar to her talk show in that she will have guests on her radio show. And she admits that some of those guests could be her Real Housewives co-stars.
“I’m sure, at some point, I’ll have the Housewives on,” she told EW. However, Bethenny said she doesn’t “want to go to that right away and do that every week; I want it to be unexpected.”
The new show called “B Real With Bethenny” premieres Monday, May 2 at 1 p.m. ET, and then it will air weekly on Wednesdays at 10 a.m. ET.
