Derry City have been handed a tough EA Sports Cup quarter-final with the Candystripes drawn against Cork City at Turner’s Cross.

The Candystripes defeated Sligo Rovers 2-0 in the second round on Tuesday night while Cork hammered Waterford United 7-0.

Holders St Pat’s Athletic visit Bray Wanderers while there’s a Dublin derby between Shelbourne and Shamrock Rovers.

Limerick host Galway United in the other quarter-final on Monday, 2 May.

Derry sit second in the Premier Division table after an excellent start to the start with the Leesiders back in sixth.
