Donald Trump Mistakenly Says “7-Eleven” Instead Of 9/11

Well that’s an awkward blunder!

During an impassioned speech in Buffalo, New York on Monday night, Donald Trump mistakenly said “7-Eleven” when he was referring to 9/11. Uh oh!

“I wrote this out, and it’s very close to my heart,” he told the crowd. “Because I was down there and I watched our police and our firemen down at 7/11, down at the World Trade Center right after it came down. And I saw the greatest people I’ve ever seen in action.”

We love our Big Gulps and Slurpees too — but maybe the convenience store chain shouldn’t be mistaken for a catastrophic event that devastated the country and left thousands dead?

But that’s not the only flub he made, Trump also erred at the beginning of his speech when the controversial businessman thanked Buffalo Bills coach Rex Ryan for introducing him and congratulated the former New York Jets coach on winning two championships. Too bad that never happened!

Ryan led the Jets (who were a wild-card team) to back-to-back AFC Championship Games in 2009 and 2010 — but they never won.

Trump should really get a fact checker to look over those speeches of his!

Maybe Trump can meet the Jets at his favorite 7-Eleven and they can drown their sorrows in hot dogs and Flaming Hot Cheetos?
