Luann de Lesseps seemed to think that she had a case for herself last season of The Real Housewives of New York when she learned that Adam and Carole Radziwill was dating. First, it was the fact that Adam was her personal chef. Then she was upset because Adam had previously dated her niece, Nicole. And then it became about dating “the help” and the age difference. During the reunion, Luann couldn’t quite pinpoint her actual reason for not supporting the relationship and she continues to talk about it. According to a new report, Luann de Lesseps is now revealing that she’s over it all.
“Some things haven’t changed since last season, and Carole’s still holding a grudge against me for commenting on her boyfriend Adam’s age, but my concern wasn’t his age, it was about her getting involved with someone who was dating a member of my family. They’ve managed to make love last and one year later, they seem very happy. At this point I’m over it, and I’m very happy for them. I’ve moved on from this completely. I think it’s time for Carole to focus on the positive and let go of her resentment towards me. As for her saying she won’t have Adam and me in the same room, honestly, I think that’s very immature since I don’t hold a grudge against her or him. I’m a woman who lives in the present, not the past,” Luann de Lesseps reveals about seeing Carole and Adam together during the premiere episode of the season.
It is interesting to hear that Luann has moved on, but one has to wonder if she has moved on, since Carole doesn’t want De Lesseps and Adam in the same room. One has to wonder if this will come up once again this season.
What do you think of Luann de Lesseps’ comments about Adam and Carole? Do you think she needs to move on and accept that they are together?
