Tom Hanks is rumored to be severely ill by a tabloid magazine that claims he’s struggling with prostate issues and can barely move around.
In Touch magazine cites a questionable source in its report that the movie star is suffering a “secret health crisis.” Gossip Cop clears up the rumor by reporting it’s “total BS” and just another fabricated story published by the outlet.
Inside the pages of In Touch, a source says Hanks is “suffering from prostate flare-ups and other blood sugar problems.”
Hanks does have Type 2 Diabetes, but isn’t experiencing any other known health issues. In Touch’s seemingly fake insider added that Hanks is “in a ton of pain and it’s not allowing him to walk and function the way he wants.”

The unreliable source continues that Hanks now “spends many days in his home office” because he “doesn’t want the public to see him at less than his best.” When he’s not in the public eye, the actor is allegedly “struggling” with his ailments, according to the magazine.
In addition to the supposed pain, discomfort, and life-altering activities associated with his illness, the source goes on to say that Tom Hanks “must take multiple pills” and that his wife, Rita Wilson, “lays out all of his pills… every morning and night. She labels everything with a time and date.”
It’s an alarming story that can quickly make fans jump to the wrong conclusion. Fortunately, the article has been corroborated as totally baseless.
Gossip Cop “assures” its readers that no one “close to the two-time Oscar winner” spoke to the tabloid. A rep for Tom Hanks has confirmed that the actor isn’t suffering from any type of “secret health crisis.” He’s also not suffering any prostate problems, pain, or inability to walk.
