Mark Ballas returned to the show this week after sitting out last week’s performance with a back injury. His Paso Doble with Paige VanZant in a mock UFC ring proved that he’s back in it to win it — this couple may be in for the long hall. Len didn’t think it looked like a Paso Doble, but Carrie Ann called it “bad ass” and they ended up with a score of 23.
One of the most tissue-worthy performances of the night was Doug Flutie’s Waltz with Karina Smirnoff (video at bottom of page). Dedicated to his parents who both died of a heart attack just minutes apart last November, the dance earned him the same score as last week (20), but it was a perfect tribute to his Mom and Dad.

Antonio Brown and Sharna Burgess had a little help with their dance on Monday night. Antonio’s son joined his dad during part of the Foxtrot and while they were only given a 20, Antonio’s touching tribute to his kids was amazing.
