‘Alaskan Bush People’ To Be Filmed At Urban Location For Season 5?

Alaskan Bush People

Many fans are wondering where “Alaskan Bush People” will be filmed for season 5. They packed up and headed out of their rugged residence in the final episode. Billy Brown’s health issues with chronic seizures forced the Brown family to relocate so he could seek appropriate medical treatment.

News Wire reports via Fay Observer that the series will relocate to film “Alaskan Bush People.”

“A lawyer for the family said the ‘Brown adventure’ will move to an urban setting because of Billy Brown’s need to be near doctors,” the site revealed.

No specifics are revealed at this point as to where the show might set up for production, but there are speculations it could be near Seattle or somewhere in California. No has any idea at this point, the show alluded to the family leaving Browntown for Seattle.

Of course, it’s not just health problems that prompted the Browns to move. Billy and Joshua Brown pleaded guilty to lying about their residency while receiving annual oil revenue checks issued to Alaskan residents between 2009 and 2012 when they lived in Seattle. As a result, they were sentenced to 40 hours of community service and will pay a fine so all charges could be dropped against the rest of the family.

Bill and Joshua made the plea deal to spare the rest of the family from being sentenced.

“Alaska’s dividend program has specific requirements for the length of time in the state, and the reasons for being out of Alaska,” Billy Brown said in a statement to People. “Because of the way we live our lives and the way we often unconventionally travel, I didn’t keep good track of our movements. I accept full responsibility for filing for benefits without confirming that we met the requirements. We are committed to living in Alaska for the long term and we respect the state’s rules. I thought it best to settle to put this behind us.”

Bill and Joshua are scheduled to begin their sentence soon.

In spite of the health problems and legal ramifications, the Brown family will appear on a new season of “Alaskan Bush People.”

“The series will be returning,” a spokesperson for Discovery said in a statement released.

Wherever the Browns go, they plan on returning to Browntown.
