A Ben Affleck and Charlize Theron are the latest celebrities to circulate the rumor mill of Hollywood romances.

OK! magazine published a report that Affleck and Theron are in a “shocking romance,” but Gossip Cop corrects the false claims.

The tabloid’s new issue hit newsstands on Wednesday and stated that Ben and Charlize are in a “shocking” and “secret romance.”

According to the article, the pair have had the hots for each other at least 16 years. It declares that now the A-list singles are “finally able to see where their incredible chemistry will lead them.”

The magazine gives a brief back story, explaining that they both “bonded” on the set of the 2000 movie “Reindeer Games.”

The article continued that “the idea that they might get together was strictly fantasy… until now, that is.”

Ben Affleck and Charlize Theron supposedly reconnected at an Oscars after-party. A photo was shown of them leaving the event near one another, but they were surrounded by different groups of people, respectively. There was no sign of them attending or exiting together as a couple.

OK! wrote that a source revealed to them that Ben and Charlize “could finally flirt freely” on Oscar night but “kept their exchange outwardly low-key” because Jennifer Garner was also in attendance.

“Now everyone in their circles who saw them that night is speculating about when and how a relationship will develop,” the magazine goes on to write.

The insider added: “Neither of them wants a relationship to be made public… It’ll be their little secret as long as possible.”

Gossip Cop reports that a source close to Affleck exclusively tells them that this romance report is “so incorrect.”

Ben Affleck still lives with his estranged wife, Jennifer Garner. They share a large mansion in Pacific Palisades so they can be united for their children. Charlize Theron broke up with Sean Penn last summer, but isn’t linked to anyone specific romantically.
