7-week-old baby abducted from Philadelphia-area mall, police say

Authorities in suburban Philadelphia are searching for a missing child who was allegedly abducted from an area mall on Thursday. 

Upper Merion Township Police responded to the Food Court area of the King of Prussia Plaza for a report of an abduction, the department said in a Facebook post.

Police said the woman who allegedly took the child is described to be a dark skinned black female, approximately 25-30 years of age, height 5’2”, with a medium build, purple and black dread locks, wearing a long sleeve light color shirt, dark pants and black sneakers. She was carrying an orange purse.

Upper Merion Township police are looking for a woman accused of kidnapping a 7-week-old baby boy from King of Prussia Mall in suburban Philadelphia.

The woman was last seen exiting the Mall in the area by Bonefish Grill and was captured on surveillance footage, according to police. 

The 7-week-old boy was last seen wearing an orange shirt and blue jeans.

Anyone with information on the woman or the baby boy is asked to call the Upper Merion Police at 610-265-3232 or 911.
