Miley Cyrus and her family attended a New York Knicks game over the Easter holiday weekend. Before the game, Cyrus met and took pictures with the Cleveland Cavaliers’ JR Smith. And, apparently, she liked him a lot.
Miley was caught on camera asking JR what he was doing after the game.

Shameless pickup line? Maybe, but also, maybe not. While, Cyrus asked Smith what his plans are, her engagement ring was clearly visible.
Miley reportedly got (re)engaged to actor and on-again and off-again boyfriend Liam Hemsworth in January. She yet to make a public statement about the status of her relationship. Liam was not at the game with Cyrus.
Miley wore a Kristaps Porzingis‘ #6 t-shirt while her sister, Brandi Cyrus supported the Cavs.
Smith is currently being sued for $2.5 million for allegedly getting into a fight in New York City.
A 19-year-old named Justin Brown approached Smith at a pizza place after Smith had left the 1Oak nightclub in the Chelsea. In a lawsuit filed on Thursday, Brown says Smith refused to take a photo and then choked and struck him. Brown’s suing Smith for both physical injuries and emotional distress.
Smith was asked about the incident after the game. He told ESPN: “No, I ain’t got no comment on that,” Smith said. “It is what it is. So, we’ll just see what happens.”
Smith said he appreciates how his team has supported him through the lawsuit.
“I mean, the organization has been great since I got here,” he said. “Whether it was that or anything else, they’ve been unbelievable, so I’m grateful for that.”
There isn’t any evidence that Cyrus and Smith hung out after the game, but if they did, it’s unlikely they went to 1Oak.
