Captain Sean Dwyer is the newest addition to “Deadliest Catch” who will head the Brenna A.
According to Discovery, Dwyer, 24, is the youngest captain to appear on the show. He’s been a commercial fisherman since he was a young boy alongside his dad, Pat. He spent 3 years on the Brenna A’s sister vessel, the Jennifer A, where he was the engineer … Sean has a degree in Diesel Engine Maintenance.
Sean has “established himself as a firm, but fair, leader of a misfit crew with minimal fishing experience. Though they’re still getting up to speed, Sean has a soft spot for his crew — affectionately dubbing them ‘the Lost Boys,’ according to his bio on Discovery’s site.
Sean Dwyer achieved his father’s dying wish of returning the Brenna A to the crabbing grounds.

TV Series Finale reports that the 24-year-old now has his sights set on the Bering Sea for the very first time with a rookie crew in a vessel that hasn’t fished crab in eight years. On top of all the new challenges he faces, he must meet the 290,000 lb. quota that Sig Hansen orders. This will be an enormous test for Dwyer and his crew.
