Injury concern for Celtic’s Tierney

Celtic defender Kieran Tierney receives treatment on an ankle injury

Celtic’s Kieran Tierney briefly played on after receiving treatment but was eventually substituted

Celtic’s Kieran Tierney may be a doubt for Scotland’s match with Denmark after coming off against Kilmarnock.

Tierney, 18, picked up what appeared to be an ankle injury at Rugby Park and, after trying to run it off, was replaced by Dedryck Boyata.

Scotland coach Gordon Strachan named separate squads for the friendlies with Czech Republic and Denmark.

And uncapped left-back Tierney was included in the squad to face the Danes at Hampden on 29 March.

The Scots will play in Prague on 24 March.

Tierney, capped up to Scotland Under-19 level, made his Celtic debut late last season and has been a regular in Ronny Deila’s side this term.
