Who is he wearing? Good grief, what is going on with the mixed reviews over Spider-Man’s new costume in Captain America: Civil War? Have we all become fashion critics? Apparently, so, according to the latest Marvel news.
The second full Captain America: Civil War trailer dropped recently, and it teased a lot of drama: the usual mayhem, betrayal — you name it.
At the end of the trailer, Spidey (played by Tom Holland), donning some new digs, made a dramatic entrance — Iron Man-style. Oh, yes, in the middle of a dustup, the web-slinger commandeers Cap’s shield for a spell.
“Underoos!” Iron Man says, with the young hero using his web to take away Cap’s shield.
“Hey, everyone,” the webslinger says.

The Billy Elliot the Musical star, 19, was cast as Peter Parker in the upcoming Spider-Man film due out in 2017. Ahead of his lead role, Marvel cast him alongside Cap and the rest of the Avengers.
Little did he know, the new costume would be the subject of the fashion police on Social Media. As comic book disciples know, the digs are right in line with the original storyline.
“@jrgrmcr Why would they do that? The original is usually the ugliest one. Just look at the 2002 Spidey, it looks so much better than this one. Why would they base a supposed-to-be modern suit from a 60s comic.” ~Potatomaster25
“I’ve seen the high res image of the costume and it still looks like absolute sh**. This is like trying to adapt Aquaman’s classic costume into BvS. It does not fit the tone of movie.” ~thekyl
“Sh** CGI or costume??” ~soul_prisoner
As Captain America (Chris Evans) and Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr. kick up a civil war, whose side will Spider-Man and the Avengers choose?
The action opens in theaters on May 6, 2016.
