DEVELOPING – Multiple people have been killed and several others wounded in a shooting late Wednesday night in a suburb outside Pittsburgh, according to local media reports.
WTAE-TV reported that at least four people were killed and possibly three or four others were injured in the shooting in Wilkinsburg on the 1300 block of Franklin Ave.
At least seven ambulances responded to the report of the shooting around 11 p.m., WPXI-TV reported.
One neighbor told CBS Pittsburgh they heard about 25 gunshots ring off. The station reported the incident may have started at a backyard party.
Multiple departments are on the scene, including the Allegheny County homicide detectives unit, according to WTAE-TV.
The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reported that victims were taken to three Pittsburgh hospitals. The conditions of the victims have not been released.
The gunman is reportedly at large, but police have not identified a suspect.
