Bobbi Kristina Brown’s official cause of death has been released — and it’s not pretty.

Bobbi Kristina was found face down in her bathtub On Jan. 31, 2015. After being placed on life support for several months, Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston’s daughter died on July 26. 2015

The Fulton County Medical Examiner revealed Bobbi Kristina died due to “Immersion of face in water complicating mixed drug intoxication.” Marijuana, alcohol, a cocaine-related substance called benzoylecgonine, benzodiazepines and morphine were found in her system. The autopsy could not determine whether or not there were signs of foul play.

The medical examiner was also unable to determine if the morphine was related to the heroin found in her system. The report also explains that the full cause of death was pneumonia and encephalopathy — basically her lungs filled with water and her brain got injured as a result.

The autopsy results had been sealed due ongoing criminal investigation into boyfriend Nick Gordon’s potential involvement in her death. The report was unsealed after Atlanta station WXIA argued its First Amendment rights.

The cause of death is similar to what killed her own mother, who drowned in a bath tub at the Beverly Hilton on Feb. 9, 2012. The drowning was complicated by cocaine and heart disease.
