Most of Sunday’s TV viewing is given over to the Oscars. Aside from tonight’s ceremony on ABC, there’s countless amounts of pre- and post-awards programming on multiple channels. But what if you’re not into awards shows?
There aren’t many options, but there are a few scripted series daring to run original episodes against the Academy Awards tonight, including The Walking Dead. Here’s what you might tune into if you’re not watching the Oscars:
Vinyl, “Whispered Secrets” (9 p.m., HBO)
HBO’s newest hit show continues to roll on Sunday night. It’s a bad day at the office for Richie Finestra (Bobby Cannavale), who seems to have everyone mad at him – artists, colleagues, his wife Devon (Olivia Wilde). Check out just how much trouble Richie may be in with this teaser:
The Walking Dead, “Knots Untie” (9 p.m., AMC)
It’s decision time for Rick (Andrew Lincoln), who has to decide where to head next when he believes Alexandria is not the safe haven he thought it was. But is there any place that’s really safe? Girls, “Good Man” (10 p.m., HBO)
Hannah (Lena Dunham) gets an unexpected roommate in Fran (Jake Lacy), when Fran decides that he can’t stand his own roomie anymore.
