A pastor was shot during Mass at an Ohio church and the gunman may have been his brother, WDTN reported.
Police said the pastor at St. Peter’s Missionary Baptist Church was killed, according to WHIO. The pastor has not yet been named.
Dayton Police are believed to have the suspected shooter in custody, according to witnesses who saw cops remove a man in handcuffs and place him in the back of a cruiser.
The pastor had just walked toward the pulpit when his brother, who was seated in a pew, stood up and followed him, witnesses told WDTN. Soon after, several shots were fired and the congregation went running.
