Steve Andrews, Erin’s father, told a Nashville courtroom that Andrews is not the same person anymore. He says his daughter didn’t want to eat, bathe or be around people after discovering that nude videos of her getting dressed in her hotel room had been posted online. All she did was cry. He said Andrews remains afraid of people to this day.
“She’s afraid. She’s afraid of crowds, afraid of people. She doesn’t trust anymore.”
Steve says Erin threw up even thinking about the videos.
Andrews is currently suing Michael David Barrett and Marriott hotels for $75 million dollars in damages. Barrett secretly recorded the sports reporter while she was in her hotel room. The Marriott hotel gave him the room next to hers at his request. They even gave Barrett the room number.
Years later, the video tapes are still available online.
In 2010, Barrett was sentenced to two and a half years in prison. He was arrested in 2009 after TMZ turned him in for attempting to sell them the videos. He was released in 2012.
