Halle Berry’s ex, David Justice, wants the record straight on domestic violence rumors that have been surrounding him for years.
According to an Inside Edition interview, Justice is desperate to clear his name over assumptions made it was he that Halle was referring to when she said a “famous” man once bashed her eardrum. Justice – who was married to the actress from 1992 to 1996 – believes the one responsible for abusing Halle Berry was Wesley Snipes.
David Justice says this is completely untrue and is sick of the speculations ruining his life.
“People would say, ‘yeah, I heard it was David Justice,’” he shared. “She could’ve squashed [the rumors]. I have 3 kids and a wife for 15 years. It was important that my kids knew that their dad didn’t do [it].”
Justice says that instead of Halle never identifying her abuser, she’s made everyone believe that it’s him.
“If it was me, then say it. Say it,” Justice continued. “But she can’t say it because she knows it wasn’t. So she’d rather not say it and just let you go ahead and believe it.”
David Justice is sending a message to Halle Berry that her domestic violence insinuations have essentially made things difficult for him. He says it would be “cool” had Berry came forward a long time ago and let people know it wasn’t him that caused her physical harm, but she chose not to.
Another ex of Halle Berry’s also named Wesley Snipes as the one who abused her. According to a 2004 interview with EURWEB, Halle’s ex-boyfriend, Christopher Williams, was rumored to be the abuser. He named Snipes as the one Berry was referring to.
“The stuff they wrote about (me) and Halle was totally false,” Williams said. “They said something like I busted her eardrum, and I’m tired of it. I never said it (before) but I’m so tired of people thinking I’m the guy (who did it). Wesley Snipes busted her eardrum, not me.”
