Leah Messer had a tough year last year when she lost custody of her twin daughters, Ali and Leah. On October 7th last year, a judge decided that the girls should live with their father, so he could get them to school on time. The decision was based on attendance records, which were later proven to be false. Leah decided to fight back, and according to a new report, she’s celebrating a major win.
Apparently, Leah has regained shared custody of her twin daughters. The news was shared, but remained under the radar for quite some time – probably because it isn’t controversial.

“Leah is doing great,” a source claims according to Hollywood Life, adding, “She had confidence that she would be proven right and get her custody rights back.”
Before, the custody agreement meant that she would only see her twin girls on the weekends. Now, she will have the girls on Thursdays through Sundays, and then their dad, will take them on Mondays for the remainder of the week. This is a major victory for Leah.
“I Have done so much to become a better person, it was like a slap in the face,” Leah revealed to In Touch when she lost custody. “I think child support has a lot to do with it,. When him and Miranda first met, that’s when he started the full-custody thing. It hasn’t stopped since then.” She also added, “I feel like they should have both of us in their lives. At the end of the day, my kids are going to be happy, and I don’t care what I have to do to make them happy.”
It seems to be a great win for Leah and her girls. It is awesome to see that some of the reports about her were false. What do you think of this custody win?
