Bachelor contestant Amber James is no stranger to getting her heart broken on TV, but the 30-year-old Chicago bartender hoped that the third time would be a charm when she returned to the Bachelor to find love with Ben Higgins.
On Monday night (Episode 4), Amber’s hopes are dashed again when Ben Higgins sends her home at the rose ceremony. Although she was able to sneak in a kiss and go on a few group dates with Ben, the chemistry just wasn’t there.
Will Amber take her broken heart home and try to find love off-screen or will she be back for another round of reality TV dating on the upcoming season of Bachelor in Paradise?

Amber first appeared on Chris Soules’ season (19) of the Bachelor and was eliminated on Week 3. Several months later she landed a gig on Bachelor in Paradise.
Her date with Dan Cox went well, but he seemed to come on the show to friend zone everyone, including Amber. She then made a desperate attempt at making him jealous by going on a date with Justin Reich.

Unfortunately, Dan wasn’t jealous and Amber realized she wasn’t interested in Justin. She quickly ran out of men to pursue but tried a last ditch effort to date Jared Haibon who was being held captive by Ashley Iaconetti. It was a fail all around and Amber went home as single as she arrived.
Will Amber return to Bachelor in Paradise this summer, try to get the Bachelorette gig, or will she stop trying to find love on TV?
According to the show’s creator Mike Fleiss, producers are intent on casting a non-white Bachelorette for the upcoming season, so fans instantly thought of Amber and three other girls from Ben’s season — Jubilee Sharpe, Jami Letain, and Caila Quinn.
Reality Steve states that the girl who has the best chance of landing the gig is Caila Quinn because producers typically pick someone who ends up in the final four. Jubilee, Jami, and Amber all leave relatively early in the season, so if the franchise sticks with their normal plan, fans will probably see Caila as ABC’s next leading lady.
The Bachelor In Paradise Season 3 cast won’t be announced until after the Bachelorette airs, so fans won’t know until late spring/early summer if Amber is asked to join the third season.
On last week’s Bachelor Live, Chris Harrison confirmed that Lace Morris was asked to appear on the show. Other rumored additions to the cast are twins Haley and Emily Ferguson, Olivia Caridi and Becca Tilley.
Do you think Amber James should stop trying to find her future husband on reality TV or would you like to see her return to Paradise?
