Rumors that Bachelor Ben Higgins is engaged to Lauren Bushnell have been creating a buzz online for weeks, and a recent photo Lauren posted online has many fans thinking that Reality Steve’s final rose spoilers are true.
Lauren and Ben’s first one-on-one date was shown on Monday night’s episode, the same day that Lauren posted a photo on Instagram (below) that showed her vacationing in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico with her family. Over 200 of Lauren’s followers commented on the photo, with a number of fans asking if Ben was with her in Cabo.
Did they have a good reason to speculate? Perhaps. Ben, who appeared on the first two episodes of ABC’s Bachelor Live, was noticeably absent from the talk show on Monday – the same day Lauren was in Cabo — and host Chris Harrison made no mention of where he was.
Of course, there are no Ben-sightings in any of Lauren’s Cabo vacation photos — even the ones TMZ captured of Lauren walking on the beach. Either there’s a lot of over-thinking going on, or Ben and Lauren are doing a good job of hiding out.

After Kaitlyn Bristowe’s Snapchat leak on the last season of the Bachelorette, Ben and Lauren — or whoever he picked — have probably been given strict orders not to slip up and reveal the ending on any form of social media. In the off-chance that photos of Lauren and Ben do leak out, it would confirm what blogger Reality Steve has been saying for weeks — Lauren and Ben are engaged.
Before the season premiere aired, Steve stated that Ben was clear about picking Lauren “halfway through” filming his season and the other girls picked up on it.
“This season has essentially been over since about halfway through,” Steve writes. “Ben has been pretty clear about wanting Lauren [Bushnell] in the end, so much so that it’s apparently become obvious to the rest of the group …. they’ve all kinda seen the writing on the wall from what I hear.”
If the spoilers are correct, fans will watch Ben propose to Lauren at the final rose ceremony, followed by the live After the Final Rose special where they will finally be able to talk about their engagement. Will they also reveal that they spent time in Cabo San Lucas while the show was airing? Find out when the Bachelor season finale on March 14 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
