AUSTIN, Texas (Reuters) – The Powerball jackpot being drawn on Saturday night could be even higher than the record $600 million being advertised, pushing it near or above the largest lottery jackpot in U.S. history, a Texas Lottery official said on Saturday.

Study Links Coffee to Lower Risk for Rare Liver Disease
SATURDAY, May 18 (HealthDay News) — Just a few extra cups of coffee each month might help prevent the development of an autoimmune liver disease known as primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC), a new study suggests.
Investigators from the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., found that drinking coffee was associated with a reduced risk of developing the disease, which can lead to cirrhosis of the liver, liver failure and biliary cancer. This association, however, does not prove a cause-and-effect relationship.

Mass Effect 3 from EA was one of the launch titles for the Wii U
Games giant EA has revealed that it currently has no games in development for Nintendo’s Wii U console.
Despite being a launch partner for the gaming device, EA said it had no developers working on future titles.

‘Absolutely staggering’: Dozens injured in Connecticut train crash
Sixty people were injured, five of them critically, and rail traffic from New York to Boston was shut down after a Metro-North commuter train derailed and plowed into a second train Friday in Fairfield, Conn., Gov. Dan Malloy said.
