Fan fiction writers can submit their books to Amazon’s Kindle Worlds beginning in June. So far, Amazon has licensed three popular series.
Fan fiction, in which aficionados of existing books and movies write characters into new storylines, has long been popular fodder on Internet forums — but stories based on copyrighted works are essentially impossible to sell. Amazon wants to change that with its new “Kindle Worlds” program.
Kindle Worlds, which Amazon Publishing announced on Wednesday, lets authors write R [...]

At this very moment, cult sub-Fourteenth Street denim label BLK DNM is plastering downtown Manhattan with its newest “Wild” poster campaign—the company’s only form of advertising since its inception in 2011. Lensed by the brand’s founder and creative director, Johan Lindeberg, the sixth installment of the guerrilla promos feature none other than genetic Powerball winner Gisele Bündchen. If Obama were a CEO, not president, DOJ would hold him accountable for scandals
IRS… Benghazi… AP… the scandals are mounting in D.C. Who’s to blame?
Well, if you use the standards that federal prosecutors apply to corporations, the president would be held legally responsible for any wrongdoing by federal workers—whether he knew what they were doing or not.
Like Sergeant Shultz from “Hogan’s Heroes,” President Obama insists that he knew nothing about the IRS targeting Tea Party and other conservative groups. He only learned about it from media coverage of the Treasury’s Inspector General Report.
Similarly, he knew [...]
