Resident Evil Revelations
Capcom
Revelations is an extended remake of last year’s handheld game, which adds HD textures, new bits of plot, and appearances from series stalwarts Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield. It draws heavily on Resident Evil’s golden era with wood panelling that could be from the original game and a selection of familiar monsters to kill. Sadly, the action feels wooden too, while the dialogue and voice acting a [...]

New reality for Hezbollah supporters
The workmen had been busy in the room where Hezbollah honours its dead. In one corner of the martyrs’ cemetery in south Beirut, four women shrouded in black sat cross-legged near a new grave, reading from the Qu’ran. Metres away, the yellow flag of the militant group covered a freshly covered hole in a white marble floor. The scent of burning incense wafted across the room.
Another grave, its concrete seal barely dry, had been partly completed nearby. There were seven fresh holes in all; and the grave digger was never far away [...]

Guide a miniature robotic Mario, Princess Peach, Donkey Kong or – Mario’s main squeeze in the original Donkey Kong – Pauline to each level’s exit by dragging and dropping pieces of pipe. It’s a modern twist on ancient favourite, Pipemania, and while it starts with a gentleness that’s almost patronising, its puzzles quickly acquire the power to bend minds, adding bombs, magic tiles, pivoting corners, springs, catapults, warp pipes and conveyer belts. Four modes and [...]

More than half of the detainees at Guantanamo come from Yemen
US President Barack Obama has lifted a moratorium on the transfer of Yemeni prisoners held at Guantanamo Bay as part of a renewed push to close the detention camp.
Nearly 800 detainees have passed through the centre since it was set up under the Bush administration in 2002 to hold “enemy combatants” from the war in Afghanistan – [...]
DIY drones: don’t confuse homemade UAVs with military killing machines
“It was always a dream to build one, after having built helicopters in my bedroom for a while. I mostly like flying for fun, seeing whether I can get the device to auto-stabilise. As opposed to a plane or helicopter, you don’t need a lot of knowledge to control them. They fly themselves. Something like this – you can put in a backpack and carry it with you.” Electronic circuit designer Matt Lloyd is talking about building his first quadcopter, a type of drone popular with the growing number of DIY drone makers in the UK. A convoy of 80 lorries will leave a French base outside the capital, Bamako, and drive south to Ivory Coast.
France began withdrawing some of its 4,000 troops from the country in April.
They plan to gradually hand over to the Malian army and a UN peacekeep [...]
Paul George wins battle with Lebron James as Pacers beat Heat in Game Two
Indiana Pacers 97-93 Miami HeatSeries tied 1-1
For the second straight game in the Eastern Conference finals, LeBron James and Paul George played a personal game of anything you can do, I can do better. But this time it was the Indiana Pacers who beat the Miami Heat.
The pair were rarely more than a couple of feet away from each other on the court, with the closing seconds of the third quarter a microcosm of the James-George tussle. First George shimmied to break past James into the paint for a dunk that also drew a foul from Chris Birdma [...]
